Terms & Conditions
Last updated 18 June 2026
These terms govern the planning and travel-arrangement services provided by Itinera Viajes, S.L. ("Itinera", "we") to you ("the client"). By asking us to plan a trip, you agree to them. They are set out in plain language; nothing here is intended to remove rights you hold as a consumer under Spanish and EU law.
What we do
Itinera designs bespoke itineraries and, where you ask us to, arranges the services within them — accommodation, guides, drivers, transfers, and experiences. We act as the organiser of the trips we plan for you. Where individual services are delivered by third parties, those services are also subject to the suppliers' own conditions, which we will make known to you.
Planning and confirmation
We begin with a conversation and prepare a proposed itinerary with a full, itemised cost. No service is reserved until you have reviewed the proposal and confirmed it in writing. Prices quoted are valid for the period stated in the proposal and may change if the underlying services or exchange rates change before confirmation.
Payment
A deposit is normally requested to confirm a trip, with the balance due before departure on the dates set out in your confirmation. We will always tell you the schedule in advance. Fees for our planning work are stated separately and clearly in every proposal.
Changes and cancellations
If you wish to change or cancel a confirmed trip, tell us as soon as possible. The amount recoverable depends on the cancellation terms of the individual suppliers, which we will set out for your trip before you confirm. If we must change a material part of your itinerary, we will offer you a suitable alternative or a corresponding refund.
Insurance and documents
You are responsible for holding valid travel insurance and for ensuring your passport, visas, and any health requirements are in order for the trip. We are glad to advise, but the final responsibility rests with you.
Our responsibility
We plan and coordinate your trip with care and act in your interest throughout. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, such as weather, strikes, or supplier failure, though we will do our best to assist if they arise. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute falls to the competent courts of Madrid, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
